Spain closed the golden visa to new applications on 3 April 2025. Permits granted before that date remain valid and can still be renewed, and that is what we handle from our office in Fuengirola: renewals, family members and the move to another residence permit when the time comes. If you are planning to move to Spain now, the route is the non-lucrative visa.
Obtain an initial residency with work permit for three years.
Travel freely throughout the Schengen zone countries.
Possibility of applying for the permit for your family members without the need to raise the investment: spouse, registered partner, dependent ascendants and minor or economically dependent children of the investor.
Tax residency in Spain is not a necessary requirement for your renewal: it is sufficient to enter Spain once a year and maintain the investment.
